tinier than me

J: "Phoebe, are you weird?"
P: "No, I feeling better."

Phoebe, after I hung up the phone: "Daddy!"
Me: "No, Trixi."
Phoebe: "Gobble gobble. That's what Trixi says. (pause) No, turkey."

So Phoebe is making two word sentences... Like "Hi baby!" and "more cracker."  She isn't walking yet, but I'm sure once she decides that's an interesting thing it won't be long.  She lets go of things and stands by herself a whole bunch now, and not just for "Wow!"

She has also become a lot more independent with her words.  Today I put her down on the floor and she inexplicably started to cry.  But then she said "Boo!" (food) and "nonee!" (yogourt) so I got her some.

Other awesome words right now:

"aa too too" (attitude)
"pee ta too"  (Pikachu)
"HEH wo" (Hello, accompanied by putting an object to her ear)
"AH waee" (All right.  Jordan says this a lot)
"OH tay"  (Ok)

Honestly, she is probably learning about 5 new words a day, so it's too hard to keep track!

Maybe I included this earlier, but a while ago, Phoebe figured out that coffee (the grinder anyway) says "euuuhhh" (picture a grunting sound)

Phoebe had her first visit to the Science Centre today and it was so much fun!  I have become so bored with my old place of work but seeing how much fun she was having there was great.  Once she realized that she was allowed to touch things, she kept pointing at things and saying "da!" (that).  There was a LIttle Tikes tree with a slide that she kept going up and down and saying "Whee!"  (also the word for swinging, toys going for rides while she pushes them etc.)  One time, she even had a little tumble and cried as if she wanted to be picked up, but as soon as I tried, she cried out "Whee!!" because she wanted to slide some more.

I can't wait for you guys to meet her when I am out this summer... There's just too much to describe.  She is smart and cute and hilarious.  And *loves* to charm.
